Hier die Ausschreibung:

International youth exchange on exploring people’s sustainable lifestyle and relation to nature, based on outdoor activities for all young Naturefriends.

One week surrounded by wonderful green…
One week far away from the city…
One week of exploring what beautiful nature can offer you!

What is it about?

Have you ever thought about trying out a more natural and greener lifestyle? The ability to make something useful, creative and cool out of the things you find in the woods?

This summer, International Young Naturefriends launch a brand new project, a new style of summer camp and youth exchange, where we would like to explore ways to live in closer connection to the nature. We will do eco-cooking, baking cakes with solar energy, learning and trying out basic survival techniques in a middle of a forest. And we wont forget about art either! We will create musical instruments and play them, have a fairy-tale night with campfire, creating land art in the beautiful surroundings and much more.

Simply, well have fun and good times, explore, share and discover together, because that’s what a youth exchange is about!

The name? Born To Be Wild!

Whom is it for?

The activity is designed for young naturefriends from our network, who are ready to discover nature together, and are open to new adventures and learning by exploring and experiencing.

If you are between 18 and 30, coming from either Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Germany or Belgium, able to communicate in English and willing to go through this green adventure with us, dont hesitate and register!

Where is it taking place?

Born To Be Wild will have its base camp in a beautiful countryside of Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic, far from civilisation, in the middle of meadows, fields and forests. We will stay at a camp site, so be ready for rather natural conditions.

Want to come?

First thing you should do in order to come to this activity is to register yourselve below. When registering, please pay attention to questions, which are focused on your motivation to come to the project. They will serve as one of the factors according to which we will be deciding upon the composition of the participants.

The registration deadline is Thursday 10th June and the selection of participants will be ready by Monday 14th June.

All participants will be informed about the decision (accepted/rejected/waiting list) as soon as they are made by email to the address you provide in the application form (please make sure it is a correct one). Accepted applicants will receive an admission sheet with instructions for further action. In case you did not receive any email from us in the expected time, please contact us by email or phone.

What do we cover?

IYNF will provide travel reimbursement to all participants covering 70 % of total travel costs. The maximum reimbursed costs (70%) are:

* 290 EUR for travels over 1000 km,
* 250 EUR for travels not exceeding 1000 km,
* 120 EUR for travels not exceeding 500 km and
* 50 EUR for travels less than 300 km.

Please note that IYNF wants you to choose the most ecological travel means. To stimulate this we give the highest discount if you travel bus and a lower discount if you travel by train. In case you need to take a plane you have to consult us to get permission for it. You can read more about this in our travel regulations.

Besides that we cover food, accommodation and all material needed during the activity.

What is your contribution?

You are expected to cover 30% of your travel costs and pay the participation fee (according to the chart below). We offer this activity to you at a very affordable price, and ask for a small contribution to our costs in the form of a participation fee.
IYNF follows a policy of fair prices, dividing Europe into regions according to the different income levels. You pay the fee in the country of residence. In addition, Students and Naturefriends (members of IYNF member or partner organisation) have a combinable discount and there is a special reduction rate for Registered IYNF Volunteers. You can find the price valid for you at the intersection of your region and your status in the tables below.

Participation fees (in EURO)

Fees are between 8 and 63 euro, depending on your country of residence, being a student or naturefriend, registered IYNF volunteer or Group leader. The table is in the call that can be found under practical information and downloaded from there.

For being a student and / or a member of IYNF we would need a proof by sending a copy of your student or membership card by fax, post or a scan per mail. If you would like to know if you are a registered IYNF volunteer or not, please send an email to iynf [at] iynf.org.

Besides contributions mentioned above, we expect you to come with interest, passion and open mind towards exploration of how things are when you are Born To Be Wild!

We would also like to ask you to offer some small workshops connected to nature, ecological way of life or any other “green” issues. Please share your ideas with us while answering the questions which are part of the registration.

And if you would like to come but cannot pay the fee?
We dont want money to be an obstacle for anyone to participate to our activities; on the other hand we want committed and motivated participants, who value the opportunity. Therefore, we employ the principle pay what you can, and a little bit more. So do contact us if money is an issue, but you do want to come.
